Southern Comfort Martini

Southern Amaretto Martini
For a sensual, sophisticated martini, (shaken NOT stirred-really there's a reason for this) try adding one ounce Amaretto to one ounce of Southern Comfort to one and a half ounces of sweet & sour mix to a shaker filled with ice.
Let sit while you moisten the rim of a martini glass with a lemon slice. Dip rim in sugar so that the martini glass is coated with a nice, thick rim of sugar. Try raw sugar, it adds a touch of color and the molasses in it gives it a nice, rich flavor.
Shake the martini shaker a few more times really well. When you strain and pour into the glass, the martini should resemble a glass of beer, with a nice amber color and foamy head. It may be slightly opaque.
Enjoy!
